Disney Channel celebrates Earth Day with green-themed episodes of its hit series, each conveying the importance of conservation, recycling and using sustainable natural resources, beginning SATURDAY, APRIL 17 and will feature encore eco-conscious episodes of "Phineas and Ferb," "Hannah Montana," "The Suite Life On Deck" and "Wizards of Waverly Place."
New Disney's Friends for Change: Project Green on-air messages featuring multi-platinum recording artists and actors Joe Jonas ("JONAS") and Demi Lovato ("Sonny With A Chance"), stressing the importance of protecting the planet's oceans and waterways, will debut on Earth Day. Kids can add to the more than 1.5 million Friends for Change "pledges" that have already been made by visiting Disney.com/ProjectGreen and committing to help local habitats.

Join Miranda Cosgrove as she performs a few of her favorite songs in front of a live audience next Wednesday, March 24th at the UCLA campus in west Los Angeles. The arrival time is 12:30 PM and will last until approximately 5PM. The taping of this concert will be used at Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards. The minimum age to attend this show is 12 and the concert is for kids between the ages of 12 and 17. There will be an area for parents to watch from, but only kids between the ages of 12 and 17 will be allowed to take part in the live concert audience. Having said that, all minors must be accompanied to the concert by an adult. Only one adult is needed for each group of minors. For example, a party of three kids between the ages of 12-17 only needs one adult to accompany them to the concert.

Two-time Grammy and seven-time Latin Grammy Award-winning artist Shakira and comedian Jeff Garlin guest star in a new episode of the hit comedy series, "Wizards of Waverly Place," during Disney Channel's popular programming event, "Night of Premieres," FRIDAY, APRIL 16 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT). The evening also includes new episodes of the hit series "The Suite Life On Deck," "Wizards of Waverly Place," "Phineas and Ferb" and the Disney XD comedy "I'm In The Band."
Radio Disney will launch a new multi-platform daily programming feature, "N.B.T.: Making It Big," chronicling the rise of Allstar Weekend, the inaugural year "N.B.T." ("Next Big Thing") finalists now signed to Hollywood Records. Premiering on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17, "N.B.T.: Making It Big" provides audiences on-air, online and via mobile devices an inside look at what it takes to make it big in the music industry. "N.B.T.: Making It Big" will take Radio Disney and Disney Channel audiences behind the scenes of Allstar Weekend's journey leading up to the June 22 release of their debut album on Hollywood Records. Featuring details on how they first formed their band and became "N.B.T." artists to what they love most about recording sessions, photo shoots, and making music videos, "N.B.T.: Making It Big" will give audiences a first-hand perspective into the lives of these rising stars.
The Tween/Teen Concert Series is a traveling concert to bring together tweens and teens in their communities for a day of entertainment, motivation, and information. Each event will include performances, tween/teen motivational speakers, a charity to give back to, tween/teen celebrities, meet & greet, a fashion show, and information on social networking. At each concert if you bring in a pair of gently used jeans you will be given a wrist band to have access to the Meet & Greet Area to get signed autographs of all the performers, and $5.00 off the ticket price!
