Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls: Moving Day by Meg Cabot

This book is about a girl named Allie Finkle. She is in a miserable fourth grade classroom with her enemy Scott Stamphley, her almost-best friend Mary-Kay, who cries about EVERYTHING, and her sort-of friend Brittany Hauser, the bat thrower. When Allie's parents announce that they're moving, Allie starts to wish she was nicer to Mary- Kay. Later, Allie feels that she should keep a book of rules so she remembers. The first rule, NEVER EAT ANYTHING RED!!! She keeps this book everywhere just in case there's another rule she finds.

She doesn't want to move, because her new house is "creepy" but her parents bragged her into moving by telling her they'd get her a kitten! By now, the parents sold the house for more than expected, so they now DEFINENTALY have to move! Will Allie end up liking her house and get a new best friend, or will things get worse?

I liked this book because, Allie is like me and we agree on lots of things! I also really like Meg Cabot as an author! I'm excited to read the next few Allie Finkle books!!!
