Lemonade Mouth

Production has begun in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on the music-driven "Lemonade Mouth," a Disney Channel Original Movie that tells kids and tweens that building your confidence rocks and finding your destiny rules. The story follows five disparate high school students who meet in detention, realize they are destined to rock, and ultimately form a band that becomes a champion for students sidelined by the high school elite. The movie was written by April Blair based on the book Lemonade Mouth by Mark Peter Hughes, and the pop music soundtrack will include nine original songs.

Zeke & Luther

Disney XD has ordered a third season of the hit comedy series "Zeke and Luther." The announcement was made today by Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide. New episodes of the buddy comedy about two best friends determined to achieve epic skateboarding status will begin production fall 2010 in and around southern California. Starring are popular teen actors Hutch Dano, Adam Hicks, Ryan Newman and Daniel Curtis Lee.

Fairly Odd Parents Movie

Nickelodeon has greenlit a live-action television movie adaptation of one of its most popular animated series, The Fairly OddParents, it was announced today by Marjorie Cohn, President, Original Programming and Development, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!, based on the hit series from creator Butch Hartman, will combine live-action with CG animation and follow the adventures of a now 23-year-old Timmy Turner (Drake Bell, Drake & Josh) who refuses to grow up in order to keep his fairy godparents. A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner! is set to premiere on Nickelodeon in 2011.

In The Summertime

A jammin' hip hop spin on a classic song, "In the Summertime," with rap lyrics, performed by teen actors Adam Hicks and Daniel Curtis Lee (of the hit comedy series "Zeke and Luther"), will debut as Disney XD's summer anthem on SATURDAY, MAY 29 (8:00 a.m., ET/PT). The music video for the song, a cover of the instantly recognizable classic released in 1970 by British pop-blues band Mungo Jerry, will rotate throughout the Disney XD summer schedule. Hicks and Lee's remake of "In the Summertime" will have its Planet Premiere on Radio Disney FRIDAY, MAY 28. The music video will also be available on DisneyXD.com and the Disney XD YouTube channel on Saturday.

Debby Ryan - 16 Wishes

The world premiere of "16 Wishes," starring Debby Ryan ("The Suite Life on Deck"), is set for FRIDAY, JUNE 25 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The movie follows Abby Jensen (played by Ryan), a teenager who can't wait to grow up, and when she's handed the chance to make all her wishes come true, quickly learns the importance of being careful what you wish for.

Jonas LA

New Jonas Brothers music, a new So-Cal setting and a new serialized comedy format mark Season Two of the Teen Choice Award-winning series "JONAS," newly named "JONAS L.A.," premiering SUNDAY, JUNE 20 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. It stars pop culture superstars Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson. The Jonas Brothers also star in the short-form series "Jonas Brothers Living the Dream 2," which gives viewers unprecedented access to their lives on stage and off during their European tour, and in the contemporary movie musical, "Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam," premiering Friday, September 3 on Disney Channel.
