Nickelodeon Teams Up with Michelle Obama for “Let’s Move”

Nickelodeon President Cyma Zarghami announced today that Nickelodeon will join the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, in her nationwide Let’s Move www.LetsMove.gov campaign to solve the problem of childhood obesity in this generation. Nickelodeon will offer its resources and research to the campaign, including kid and family-targeted PSAs featuring the First Lady, and special programming events on its channels and websites.

New DCOM “16 Wishes” Starring Debby Ryan

You know the exciting news Debby Ryan wanted to tell all of us via twitter awhile ago? It looks like that exciting news was that she is in Vancouver filming her very own Disney Channel Original Movie “16 Wishes”. How exciting for her!

Debby tweeted a picture of her and her co-stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau and Cainan Wiebe. We do not have a lot of details about the movie, but here is what Cainan has on his website.

NEW YORK, Feb. 3, 2010 – TeenNick Chairman Nick Cannon takes the helm behind and in front of the camera as Nickelodeon presents two back-to-back movie premieres featuring the multi-talented entertainer, on Sunday, Feb. 21. Cannon makes his movie directorial debut with School Gyrls, a new hour-long original musical comedy, which he also penned, premiering at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) and stars in the network’s premiere of the popular theatrical film Drumline, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
